Few days after he called on Nigerians to pray and fast, on June 12, so that Nigeria will not disintegrate, a popular Nigerian religious leader, Prophet TB Joshua,57, is dead according to his family sources.
Feelers from his family indicate that Joshua, the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), died on Saturday evening in Lagos after attending to his church activities.
The deceased,who would have turned 58 years on June 12, 2021, made the call while disclosing that he would not be holding a public celebration for his incoming 58th birthday.
Earlier while addressing his church members in Lagos, Prophet Joshua said Nigeria would not break up,in response to Kanu, Igboho’s call for the secession of Nigeria.
The deceased, known as a charismatic pastor, televangelist and philanthropist, ran a mega church, which includes the Emmanuel TV television station from Lagos.
He was married to Evelyn and worth US$10-15 million (Forbes, 2011), according to Wikipedia.
The online publication reports that the circumstances surrounding the demise of Joshua remained sketchy as at the time of this report.
However, another source said that after officiating in his church, the late Joshua went to have a rest but never come back alive.
The late Prophet was born in Arigidi Akoko in Ondo state on June 12,1963.

The Governor stated that the late Cleric, in his years of existence, lived a fulfilled life by serving the call of his creator and impacting on numerous lives individually through his ministry, the SCOAN.
He noted the pain of Joshua’s unexpected demise had been felt by many,particularly those whom his life had directly impacted, noting the consolation was that his legacies would continue to surge on
Bello said that Pastor Joshua would be greatly missed for his audacious truth-telling and his peaceful advocacies as well as great concern for humanity, most especially the widows, orphans and people living with disabilities
The Governor,who prayed God to comfort and strengthen the family of the deceased, his church and those greatly hurt by his death, urged them not to derail from the footprints of the late cleric, mostly his humanitarian endeavour.
