As the good people of Anambra State look forward to going into another election to elect a new Goveenor that will pilot the affairs of the State from 2022-2026, it is obvious that their choice would be a product of the stories they have. In 2017, the incumbent Goveenor Willie Obiano was identified with two major story points namely: that he was a director at Fidelity Bank and an auditor of a multi national oil company.
Obiano’s story is such a short one and going by his conspicuous poor performance it is good for ndi to go for a candidate like Mr Godwin Ezeemo whose story is more elaborate, practical and conspicuous on ground. By story Ezeemo a native of Umuchu in Aguata LGA of the State is parading a wonderful quality of a candidate who is well prepared to move Anambra to the zenith it deserves to be.
A graduate of Federal Poly Ilaro, Ezeemo also.known as Achinagbaraoha, began life as an auxiliary teacher. He later moved to Lagos to do business of clearing and forwarding and that turn out to be a move that made him to discover his talent and destiny. From Lagos he took another business transit to London where he massively thrived in his choice of business to the extent of graduating into a top level as a conglomerate businessman with huge assets and investments globally.
Yes the Achinagbaraoha of Umuchu is an accomplished skilful businessmen with international repute, thus he came into politics with a five star capacity exemplified in his ability to plan and execute, to create, develop and build, to budget and manage and to harness and transform the bad to good, good to better and better to best. This assertion is conspicuously available and seeable and touchable in the huge assets and investments he sits atop and the number of people he manage as the Chairman/CEO Orient Group of Companies
His assets and investments in Anambra State show that he believes in the State and when elected as governor he will lead with truth, he will be honest and ensure a transparent and accountable administration in the State. More so his position as a large investor with wide range of assets and investments in agriculture, oil and gas, ICT, hospitality, transportation manufacturing, media, printing and publishing show that he represents all people in such form and manner that he is a trader, a driver, a businessman, a manufacturer, a farmer, a youth, a market woman, an employer and employee makes it impossible for him not do well in office because his failure to do well is as bad as somebody hurting himself.
Take for instance, If as Governor he fails to construct roads, it will affect his business If he fails to improve on the standard of education it will affect his business workforce and if he ignores farmers and not boost them with favourable policies it will affect him as a farmer. So Ezeemo is quite unlike other aspirants who do not believe that their State (which they want to govern) is safe to do business.
He is quite different from others who do not have any interest to protect in the State they want to govern, so as governor Ezeemo must work. And good enough he is skilful and experienced enough. In fact he holds the ace when it comes to practical experience to be governor because as a wealthy businessman and employer he can comfortably manage the human and economic resources of Anambra State
In summary, the Umuchu born businessman is the story Ndi Anambra need going for another governorship election in November 6, 2021
