ECDA adopts EYM caretaker committee

The Eggon Cultural and Developmemt Association( ECDA) World wide, has adopted the five man caretaker committee set up by National Representative Assembly ( NRA) of Eggon Youth Movement ( EYM) .

Dr. Vincent Paul, the Secretary General of the Association, made this known on Saturday while reading the resolution of the ECDA National Representative Council ( NRC) during the association meeting in Nassarawa Eggon, Nasarawa State.

” The NRC has resolved as follows after the Secretary of ECDA, Plateau state, Mr Godwin Ewuga moved a motion for the acceptance of Eggon Youth Movement ( EYM) caretaker committee which was seconded by the Secretary, ECDA, Kaduna State, Mr Daniel Ablaku.

” As the  five man caretaker committee was constituted on March 6th, 2021 by the National Representative Assembly ( NRA) to pilot the affairs of Eggon Youth Movement ( EYM) for the next three months, that is 90 days.

” And in order to ensure that EYM move on smoothly in which election should be conducted for smooth transition.

” The  constitution of the caretaker committee followed  the sack of Mr Daniel Anyuabaga EYM leadership and his team,

” The caretaker committee members are: Mr Alex James as the Chairman of the committee.

“Malam Umar Abdullahi-Secretary of the committee, Comrade Madi Akwashiki  Publicity Relation Oficer ( PRO), Comrade Alhaji Sani Umar- member of the committee and Comrade Dauda Averson Musa- Member of the committee,”he said.

The association secretary general said that the ECDA would constitutionally supervised by the ECDA based on the directive  of  Dr Bala Abaine Angbazo, the Aren Eggon.

Also speaking, Mr Wilberforce Alaku, the ECDA President urged Eggon nation to cooperate with one another for development to thrive.

He also called on the youths to respect elders and constituted authorities for development to thrive.
