1stA A Talent Hunt kicks-off in Kwara,Merseille’s Chief Scout delights with talents

The Olympic Merseille of France Chief Scout for Africa, Omar Sciola,says he is impressed with the display of talents at the first day of maiden of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq Talent Hunt Scouting programme on Tuesday in Ilorin.

Sciola, however, said it was difficult to identify some good players immediately, because there are lots to pick from.

He commended the Kwara Football Association and the Committee for organizing the programme for a smooth event devoid of irregularities.

 

 

Sciola,who noted that Governor AbdulRazaq was creating an enabling environment, through such programme, to meaningfully engage the youth in positive endeavour, called on other well to do individuals to emulate him.

The Reporters reports that over 2,000 youths turned out for the Talent Hunt Tournament 2021, from where 400 youths were registered to participate from 20 youth clubs and Academies, at the Main-Bowl of the Kwara State Stadium Complex, Ilorin.

The online publication gathered that the competition was introduced to discover talents from the nooks and crannies of the state, and to appreciate the contributions of the Governor to the development of youths and sports.

 

The football tournament, which is for U-17 players, is featuring  Kwara United Youth Team, ABS FC Youth Team, Kwara Football Academy (KFA), La Planet SA, House of Prayers Football Academy, Leaycon Football Academy, Offa, Musty and Yolymike Football Academies.

Others clubs are; Emmy for Geo Football Academy, Debby Football Academy, Genosis Stallion Football Academy, Arsenal Kiddies Football Academy, B3 Warriors Football Academy, De-missionary Football Academy, Foresight Football Academy, Royal Football Academy, Elite Football Academy and Barrier Football Academy.

The competition continues on Wednesday, from 8.00 am.
