Kagara abduction, 42 regain freedom

The 42 victims that were kidnapped by bandits from the Government Science College Kagara, Niger State, have been retained freedom.

The Reporters gathered that the cheering news came after negotiations.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Niger governor, Mary Noel-Berje, disclosed this in a statement in Minna.

She recalled that 27 students, three staff members and 12 members of their family of Government Science School, Kagara were abducted after the attack on the school in the early hours of Wednesday.

The governor’s aide added that the kidnapped victims are on their way to Minna, where they will be formally received by the governor.

Meanwhile, feelers from the stake showed that efforts were still on to government the release of the 27 students and others abducted along with them.
