In no too distant future, various political parties in Anambra state will conduct their primary elections with a view to presenting their candidates for the governorship election coming up in the state in no too distant future.
Among the candidates eyeing the number political seat of the state, armed with impeccable character and who has contributed immensely to the social economic and political development of Anambra is Mr Godwin Ezeemo, the man of the people in view of immeasurable impact to the various strata of population in Anambra state.

Ahead of the 2021 governorship election in Anambra State, it is very important for the good people the State, christened “Light of the Nation” to dig their eyes on the water with a view to digging out somebody like Mr Godwin Ezeemo for the State’s top job at the government house in Agu Awka.
A look at the crops of politicians that have indicated interest to succeed the incumbent Governor, Chief Willie Obiano in 2021,clearly shows that Ezeemo holds the ace in terms of practical things on ground to make a good governor Ndi Anambra want.
Ezeemo is aspiring to be governor under PDP says he has everything to show that he is well prepared and capable enough to give Ndi Anambra the kind of good leadership left behind by former Governor Peter Obi which they are yearning. It is not about boasting, it is about stating the facts and putting the record straight. Since the return of democracy to Nigeria in 1999 and even in the previous Republics, there has never been any governorship aspirant or candidate that has huge investments in Anambra State like Ezeemo.
The significance of Ezeemo’s massive investments in Anambra is that, he doesn’t just have the interest of the people but he also has what it takes such as experience, exposure and capacity to render quality services to ensure good governance. These trio words – experience, exposure and capacity are indispensable in governance. Anybody going into political office as big as the governorship seat of Anambra State must have some high degree of experience, exposure and capacity needed to manage the the resources of the State.
Experience, exposure and capacity were the secret of Peter Obi’s quality leadership in Anambra State.
In like manner, Ezeemo is coming on board with a high degree of experience he needs to plan and execute laudable projects in critical sectors of governance in the state,most especially in security, education, health, agriculture, roads, water, sports, technology and others. He is coming with a high degree of exposure he hopes to effectively utilise to reach out to the wider world and attract investors and create jobs.
Ezeemo is an international businessman who lived in London for 20years, thus, if given the mandate to be the Governor of Anambra,he will bring a high degree of exposure to bear in the Government House. Most importantly, he is coming with high degree of capacity which places him in stronger position to respond to issues of governance ranging from the State workforce, State functionaries both inward and oversight.
He will also ensure diplomatic and amicable resolution of conflicts and ensuring effective response to the antics of opposition whose intent and purposes is to destabilize government.
The point we are clearly making here is that, Ezeemo is not a bad choice for governor of Anambra State. And to prove the points raised here, we have it on account that he is so far the only governorship aspirant that has a conglomeration of businesses cited in the State that cut across agriculture, hospitality and manufacturing.
He is also credited of establishing oil and gas, transportation, importation, ICT and Media, printing and publishing outfit with positive impact in lives of about 20,000 workers, directly and indirectly. He might be the only aspirant that owns a farmland, a radio station and a newspaper outfit in the State.
In the area of philanthropy, he might be second to none among the aspirants, because his philanthropic services cut across the State. He has constructed road with asphalt in his country home of Umuchu, built and donated a Church auditorium for Anglican communion, built and donated a two storey house to Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ), Anambra State Council.
The PDP hopeful also donated speed boat to a riverine community ravaged by bad roads and menace of flood in the State plus scholarship to students up to university level, to mention but few of valued and valid gesture of this man of honour and substance the people of Anambra are yearning for to lead them in the next political dispensation in the state.
That many political and economic analysts see Ezeemo as apparently the signpost indicating where Ndi Anambra will head to in 2021 is a valid belief. Professor Nath Chibundu Okudo has this to say about the man of the moment-Ezeemo.
“Well, I have had the opportunity to visit Ezeemo at Umuchu and see things for myself and from what I observed, I think the man is prepared for governor and I won’t mince words to say that he is the signpost of where Anambra should go in the next dispensation.”
