Road rehabilitation:Residents of Gadumo witness respite

Respite came the way of many residents of the Gadumo section of Ganaja-Lokoja road under rehabilitation as the company executing the work commenced wetting the section on Wednesday.

The correspondent of the Reporters, who visited the section, reports that a water load truck was seen wetting the area.

Our correspondent recalls that many residents, especially those whose houses are close to the road, while speaking with the online publication last week, company of dust, occasioned by the ongoing rehabilitation.

The residents, who commended the government for the rehabilitation of the road,urged timely wetting of it to avoid people contracting dust related diseases.

Meanwhile,residents of the 500 unit axis of the road have called on the contractor handling the section to assume work on time.

Some of them who spoke with our correspondent, during an interview,said the call became necessary in view of the terrible terrain of the section and yearning for a motorable road.
