Between the end of a month and the beginning of another , there is always a notable lesson.Education should be purposeful, needful and helpful. It must be towards good personal relationship with others.And this requires acquiring or waking up the skills, talents, values and virtues in us.Take it. There is no person who is not given one talent or gift or another.But some people behave as if all perfect gifts are with them while others have none.Hypocrisy and prejudice shut up many eyes in total darkness. We are most apt to speak Ill of others when we are ill ourselves.Or why should we laugh at others ,look down on them and call them crooked when we are wobbled ourselves.We accuse others to accuse ourselves.Our Nigerian politicians are most guilty of this . So are religionists. Why should we be biased against other people? Research calls us to think, to reason and to meditate to find out and discover the truth ,the whole truth and nothing but the truth. He who boasts of being perfect is perfect in folly. I have lived some years in this world and have never seen,met or heard of a perfect one. Even the rose has its thorns and every day its night and darkness.Unbiased personal relationship is recognizing the gift, strength ,skiil and talent of others and propping them up to get out of their weaknesses. The real meaning of life is forming a habit to lift on up , bring them out of the areas they do not know to the areas they should and ought to know to lift them up, make them better and make them happier.Education ought to turn us to be our brothers and sisters keepers.It teaches us to do all the good we can,by all the means we can, in all the ways we can, in all the places we can, at all the times we can as long as ever we can . There is nothing in the world more precious than excellent human relationship. It is knowing the need of others and filling it.It is knowing how to make others happy and doing it . Whosoever knows this secret of Education , this secret of positive human relationship will drink the cup of life down to its very dregs.
