ACM Kibo now Zonal Commanding Officer Lagos /Ogun–FRSC

An Assistant Corps Marshal(ACM), Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Peter Kibo has been appointed as the Zonal Commanding Officer for Zone RS2 comprising Lagos and Ogun State Commands.

The Deputy Route Commander and the Zonal Public Education Officer, FRSC, Ijeoma Ajuzie,made the disclosure in a statement in Lagos on Monday.

Ajuzie said that Kibo, a Fellow of National Defence College Course 27 fdc, served in various capacities of the Corps, including Sector Commander in several Commands and Zonal Commanding Officer RS4HQ Jos and the Immediate past ACM Personnel RSHQ Abuja before his new appointment.

She qouted Kibo, during his maiden address to staff,as assuring them of improvement on the performance of his predecessor, adding however that he would welcome innovations and creativity from them to make the Z zone much better.

On motorists,Kibo urged them to imbibe the culture of‘Drive Safe and Stay Safe’ and obey traffic rules and regulations while ensuring proper checks on their vehicles before embarking on any trip.

The new zonal commanding officer,who promised to reduce carnage and traffic on the roads, through increased visibility and prompt rescue services, called on Departmental Heads to be show exemplary leadership to their subordinates.
