A humaniterian group, Mogulboss, Abuja, has sued for peaceful and coexistence among the diverse ethnic and religious groups in Nigeria.
Making specific reference to the recent Southern Kaduna crisis, Mogulboss urged the Federal Government to employ dialogue as a means for resolving the crisis in that part of the country.
The Chief Executive Officer of of the group, John Oputa, in an interview with the press noted that Nigeria was in dire need of peace, oneness and respect for rule of law.
He expressed concern that recent events could plunge the nation into a state of anarchy, if urgent is not taken to arrest them.
The CEO of the group which has over 4,000 members nationally and internationally, said that there was absolute need for peace and unity in Nigeria, especially the communities in Southern Kaduna.
Oputa said the issue that had been of major concern in the Southern part of Kaduna was a land dispute which according to him would have taken simple dialogue to resolve.
Oputa said: “The only reason why these things are happening is because of absence of unity in Nigeria.
“If you look at the country’s coat of arm, one of our mottos talk about peace and unity.
Oputa reminded Nigerians that there should not be any need for a divided house in the country, but a house where peace, unity should have a pride of place to ensure meaningful and the desired development to thrive.
“A part of the Bible says, a house cannot stand if it is divided amongst itself.
“Even in friendship, if there is no unity, it cannot thrive. We need to be united. The problems could be land, it could be just a little misunderstanding.
“Most of the time it is land dispute or maybe this one insulted my wife or that and most times, most time, we need simple dialogue as the best way forward.Dialogue and sincere willingness to make peace.
“In the first place, Nigerians need to sort out their differences and be united. That is the only way it can work.
“Unity is all about what Mogulboss preaches: it is all about uniting people, either for business or for social wise.”
The Mayor of Mogulboss for Mararaba – Nyanya chapter, Beulah Chinoso, during a social Hangout of Mararaba – Nyanya chapter, Abuja said that the group was bent on bringing oneness between people, polity and climes.
This patrotic action, he said, was being executed irrespective of colour, age, gender, ethinicity, status and state in Nigeria and beyond.
A member of Mogulboss, Mrs. Phoebe Dabal, also advised Nigerians to be unified and show love, irrespective of tribe, religion, class or any social difference in the country.
“Nigerians should love, irrespective of tribe, religion or class because we really need each other.
“Ordinarily, other people that are there on private hangout would not believe that we are meeting each other for the first time. Love is the language that will continue to bind us together,” Dabal stressed.
