Kwara PSN remodels ultra modern Secretariat

The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) Kwara Chapter on Thursday, inaugurated the remodeled PSN Secretariat in Kwara.

Speaking during the inauguration, Mr Aliu Bakau, Chairman of PSN Kwara said the remodeling was done to tune of over N3 million.

He explained that it became imperative to remodel the Secretariat for the convenience of members.

According to him, as members are growing , there is need to utilise what the association has, adding that it is an ongoing project for the association.

He observed that there is no use having abandoned project, hence the need to remodel the Secretariat to suit members needs.

Bakau noted that the Secretariat now boasts of ante-room, libraries and befitting reception area among others.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr Hameed Alege, said the Kwara PSN had been active since the advent of COVID-19, adding that Pharmaceutical industries such as Bioraj, Peace and Tuyil among others were at forefront of distributing palliatives to the state government.

He also said PSN was part of the COVID-19 technical team in the state, adding that members were very active even during lock down occasioned by Coronavirus.

Alege also said the the Pharmaceutical body in Nigeria and outside the country i
was doing everything possible to get vaccine for the novel Coronavirus disease.

He, however, observed that it was not an easy feat to discover vaccine easily, stressing that but required testing and know the effect of the vaccines on humans.
