Nigerian medical graduate breaks over 200- year-old record in Russia

A Nigerian man, Dr Chidubem Obi Gerald has made Nigeria and Africa as a whole proud by becoming the first African to graduate with a 5.0 CGPA in Medicine at the Sechenov University in Russia.

Dr Chidubem Obi Gerald was awarded the best graduating student in the Faculty of Medicine at Sechenov University, also known as First Moscow State medical university in Russia.

He hails from Anambra state in Nigeria and has made history by this huge achievement.

Sechenov University is the oldest university in Russia founded in 1758.
