The National Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) to expressed apprreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari on the appointment of Prof. Adesoji Adesugba as the Managing Director of Nigerian Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA)
In a letter dated July 3 and signed by NACCIMA President, Hajia Saratu Iya Aliya, NACCIMA described the appointment as “a timely gesture, critical to the nation’s economic growth trajectory and the effective
implementation of the Economic Recovery Growth Plan.
The group described Adesugba as “an accomplished specialist in investment promotion and conomic development.”
NACCIMA stressed that “Adesugba’s sterling credentials were indeed a reflection of the quality inherent in the organised private sector in Nigeria.
The group added that they were confident that his academic exposure, proficiency in institutional reforms and pedigree in business promotion and development would add value, in no small measure, to the attainment of NEPZA’s core mandate as the regulator and operator of free trade zone schemes in Nigeria.
“Adesugba is equipped with all the skills and qualities required to flourish in his new office and we are ready to mobilize the necessary support and resources to ensure his outstanding success and performance.
“Your Excellency, please be rest assured of the cooperation of NACCIMA, as a leading member of the organised private sector, in the quest by your administration for inclusive growth and development of the Nigerian Economy,”NACCIMA said.
