Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated the Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi (Esuwoye II), on the 10th anniversary of his ascending the throne.
“The Olofa has carved a niche for himself as a monarch with a difference in the coordination of his kingdom.
“He not only deploys his wealth and influence to lift his people, a fact known to every discerning mind, the kingdom has flourished so much under his watch.
“This is especially in the area of culture, commerce, and unity of purpose,” AbdulRazaq said in a statement by his spokesman Rafiu Ajakaye.
“The Governor commends the Esuwoye II for his peace building efforts in Offa and environs and charges him never to relent in that regard.
“On behalf of the government and people of Kwara State, the Governor joins the monarch’s family, associates and the good people of Offa to felicitate with the Olofa on the 10th anniversary of his historic coronation, “the governor added.
He said AbdulRazaq prayed Allah to give the monarch good health and long and more peaceful reign on the throne of his forebears.
The Olofa of Offa, His Royal Majesty, Oba Mufutau Muhammed Oloyede Gbadamosi, Okikiola Esuwoye II hails from Anilelerin Ruling House Offa, in Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State.
He was born into the family of Alhaji Muhammed Gbadamosi Esuwoye and Alhaja Awawu Gbadamosi Esuwoye on the 10th of August, 1963.
Duaglobalnews reports that the Olofa is a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he obtained his degree in civil engineering in the 80s.
