COVID-19: Kwara records 2 cases

Kwars State has recorded two cases of Coronavrus according to its Technical Committee on COVID-19.

Rafiu Ajakaye,Spokesman of the Committee, made the disclosure in a statement on Monday in Ilorin.

Ajakaye, who doubles as the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor said”.Sadly,: The Technical committee confirms two seperate cases of COVID-19 in the state.

” One is the wife of the UITH patient, a UK returnee, who died last Thursday and the other is another UK returnee.

Duaglobalnews gathered that the report came in 18:33pm, few minutes after the government received official confirmation of test results from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Test Centre in Ibadan.

Ajakaye said government would address a news briefing tomorrow morning,at 11a.m, to” give details and further measures being taken to tackle the development.”
