Articulate vehicle crushes woman to death in kogi

It was a black Sunday for residents of 500 Housing estate on Ganaja-Lokoja-Ajaokuta road in kogi state as an articulate vehicle enroute eastern part of the country; carrying tomato, crushed a middle-aged woman to death within the vicinity.

A correspondent of Duaglobalnews gathered that the deceased was on a trycircle, popularly known as Kekenapep, and was said to be on her way to church with two other passengers when the said vehicle left its lane and rammed on the tricycle, killing her instantly.

Irked by the reckless behaviour of the driver of the vehicle, members of the public, who gathered within the vicinity of the confluence Beach hotel,were seen in frenzy mood, warming to mob the driver and set the vehicle ablaze.

However, the Federal Road Safety Corp, (FRSC) has deplored its personnel to the scene of the incident to douse brewing atmosphere while the remains of the deceased have been moved out of the area.
