Nasarswa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board emerges best in Hajj management 2019.

Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrims’ Board has received an excellence award for being the best Most Organised State Pilgrim Welfare Board for the 2019 Hajj.

The Public Relations Officer of the board,Abdulrazaq Muhammad, disclosed this in a statement in Lafia on Wednesday.

He said that the Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, revealed this in his opening remarks during the first State Executive Council meeting this yearat the Council Chamber,Government House in lafia.

The Governor commended members of the State Executive Council( EXCO), for being part of the activities of the administration from December to date.

“I want to also use the opportunity to announce that we have not only had a very successful 2019 Christian pilgrimage to Jerusalem, we have also just received an award for being the best in Hajj management in Saudi Arabia,” he said.

He noted that the contribution of exco members had aided the successes recorded by the Muslim and Christian welfare boards in 2019.

The rating and award of excellence were conducted by the Independent Hajj Reporters, an NGO charged with the responsibility of monitoring and reporting on Hajj activities in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.
