Kogi Assembly approves 30 special advisers for Bello

Kogi State House of Assembly has given the greenlight to Governor Yahaya Bello to appiont 30 Special Advisers as part of effort for him to kick-start his second term administration in the state.


The members of Assembly gave the approval on Wednesday during plenary,following a letter written by the governor requesting for 30 Special Advisers.


In another development, the Assembly has finally screened the remaining commissioner designate, Barr. Salami Momoh Ozigi, who could not be screened yesterday

With the screening and confirmation of Ozigi, the House has cleared 17 the number of commissioner-nominees for the governors.


Meanwhile, the governor and his deputy, Chief Edward Onoja, have continued to receive congratulatory messages over their inauguration on Monday, to govern the state for another four years.
